Onza

The refinement of the surface. zai onza embodies performance and elegance at the same time. The ski unites several cutting-edge technologies used by zai. Thus, the pressure transmitter made of spring steel was refined with zaiíra®, which stabilizes the ski in longitudinal and lateral direction. In combination with natural rubber, a new functional surface with a high technical performance evolved, creating a variational performance character. The inner life of the zai onza hides numerous layers of unidirectional carbon fibres in different directions of travel. Two further absorbing layers from rubber were also inserted. zai onza is running quietly, stable, economical and conveys confidence with the first turn. The model is available in black and white.

The result is an easily turning ski – smoothly running with a good grip. Completely zai – robustness and a simple elegance characterize the ski.The models 151 and 158 cm are crafted with a supple core, agile and playful, the lengths 164 and 170 cm unfold a medium rigidity – agile with a good grip – and the 176 cm is considered as a harder and thus race-oriented ski – here, we use also thicker Titanal, together with a solid wood core. All models are the result of cutting edge technology with materials like natural rubber, ash/poplar wood and Titanal.zai binding system: with the so-called stance lift the zai designed system induces a more upright position on the ski. The zai specific positioned and shaped stance offers relief for the knees and the back, particularly in turns, which optimizes force transmission, and thus, speed and control.

The new zai stone is the consistent further development, bringing the stone to the surface and creating the world-wide only ski with an upper stone chord. Thanks to composite with the substrate material, the slate becomes pressure resistant, absorbent and flexible.
